I've been gone, I've placed some of the questions that some of you might have put in my
mailbox. Here are a few. P.S. sorry about not putting names an
location. forgot to copy those parts...next time people
Any questions that pertain to everything except Road Rules/Reality
Television and the blue people of Kentucky email me at
mailbox@steveuncentered.com. For RR/Reality TV question go to the road rules
section or, if your to lazy to scroll up,
Where the hell have you been?
oh boy...hmm. click.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
taller. actually I'd like to do a number of things ranging
from astronaut. Maybe a firefighter. Actually, making a living doing
any type of writing whether it be sports, news, movies, TV, magazines,
commercials (preferably), I would be happy
Why do
people say that the little things matter the most? If the little things
really do matter the most, then wouldn't they be the big things?
yes. The conundrums of life.
I would delve into the philosophical aspects of this question of such
depth and confusion but The OC is on...
How can
you be such KU fan when Mizzou's much better? ;-) By the way, what
exactly is a Jayhawk? ;-)
Such
a question harkens back
when I lived in the Midwest. It was a confusing time for such a
young lad. I was transported from the world of the SEC (Tenn./Kentucky)
area and deposited on the west banks of the Missouri river, Kansas they
called it. Leavenworth Kansas, My mom calls it "Lebonwort".
From there, times were to be thrust in a melee of confusion in my sports
loyalty world. I was a Missouri Resident., even though I had never
lived there. My father was in the military, and we moved around a lot.
But everywhere I went sports mania was apparent. I was born in NC so I was
naturally an unc and duke fan yes you can be both) and actually rooted for
duke when they beat Kentucky in double overtime in 1992 during my freshman
year of high school yes I'm that old) But by the time my junior year came.
I became a wildcat fan. Then my senior year I moved to Kansas. And
the process recycled itself all over again. When it came time for a
college. I applied to 15 places including.
Mizzou, Kansas, K-state,
Kentucky, Tennessee, Iowa, Tennessee, Western Kentucky, Iowa state, just to
name a few of the many....I wound up going to Westminster, a little dinky
school 15 miles from Mizzou. My best friends were all Mizzou fans
especially my friend mike. He and his cousins actually made one of
their farms into the shape of
the power cat
maze. That's team loyalty. and the next year built the
USA. I'm
still shocked they left Kansas on it. But regardless of that I still held
on steadfast and
become a Jayhawk Loyalist.
I then moved to Lawrence Kansas
to go to KU and work on my masters that never wound up happening. Seven
years later I still chant the "rock chalk".
Let's say
you were offered a part in a movie, or a play. And it was a good part, and
would pay you a good amount of $$. But let's say the role required
nudity...i.e. you would appear. completely exposed, with nothing on, in
one scene. Would you do it?
Depending on the roll I would
do it in a heartbeat. Unless it was filmed, in the arctic regions or
during the winter. And preferably it's shot with one of those fish eye
lenses that stretch everything out.
What's up?
Not much. Just answering questions for my web page.
thanks for asking though
Hey Steve what's up?
see above answer
Just wanted to know a few things about you. What's
your favorite sleeping position- back, stomach, or side? Do you chew or
trim your fingernails? What are a couple of your bad habits? Just curious?
Crunchy or Creamy peanut butter?
crunchy, I'm all about contrasting textures in food.
granola with yogurt, oyster crackers in soup, caramel in crunch bars.
I'm very anti 3 musketeers and
It's a symbiotic process that things compliment each
other oh so well.
If you were given a network and allowed to bring back
any five TV programs that you wanted the world to see
again, what would you pick? Remember, you're not getting new episodes,
just repeats of your old
favorites.
WHY?
This will be it's own article....wait soon.
Do you have a picture of any digital sea life by chance?

Here you go.
If you had the chance to be either Dirk Diggler or Brad Pitt for
a day who would you choose and why?
This is quite a question.
Although it's not...um hard to answer honestly.
Being Brad Pitt:
Pros:
-I haven't had a hard core six pack in
nearly 8 years.
-Jennifer Aniston cuddling with you every
night
-money: stupid college loans.
cons:
-having to talk to Jennifer Aniston every
night.
-bathing is considered option during even
months.
Dirk Diggler, the legendary
fictitious porn star
Pros:
-Heather Graham is a major part of your
life
being able to be with a girl who loves it
with her roller skates on and not think anything unusual about it would be
categorized as "life altering"
-"The diggle"
The cons:
would it be present time or back in the
70's. If it was the 70's I'd choice brad Pitt. The girls in
porn back in those days weren't really the hottest on the meat market if
you know what I mean. Tai Bo wasn't invented and the track marks
weren't really much of a turn on either. But on the other hand if it was
the present It would be a different story I was suspect.
Not a fan of the cocaine.
Nor the tight pants.
as for the notorious "unit" honestly.
I have really no opinion on it. Although it would be neat to have
for a day, and maybe do naked jumping jacks in front of the mirror.
I don't know if I'm completely that sold on the idea. Would it
really be that different from real life? The only thing I can think
of is that I'd be scared as hell to ride a bicycle, especially when I'm
changing gears.
I must say though you are missing one very important
aspect of a good road trip- traveling music. Didn't you see "High
Fidelity"? Surely you know the importance of a good mixed tape. Get each
of your traveling partners to make one. See who can come up with the
wackiest, zaniest combos..... slap some Biggie on there and follow it up
with Johnny Cash ( no road trip is complete without Johnny Cash) Play some
Depeche Mode followed by Simon and Garfunkel. You get the idea. I tell
you there is nothing like cruising around a strange town with some finely
aged Milli Vanlli blaring.
Here's my take on mixed tapes. Obviously they didn't
read the tangent section!
Y didn't u
participate in Battle of the Sexes?
Wasn't asked.
why o why?
the OC is
still on
what are you up to these days?
Stay tuned for it's own article.
